Hi Ixeon659

I guess you being EEA national, passports were generally NOT stamped when arriving in the UK.

But for all Non EEA Nationals, passports were always stamped while arriving in UK. But since the BRP are scrapped they dont stamp the passport when arriving in UK because of new digital system in place but they do take the biometric to check the identity at immigration.

Thanks
Of course, I never had any stamps or anything since my first arrival in 2016. I wrote that comment based on my wife's experience. My wife is a non-EEA national, before 2025 she was receiving stamps on 50/50 basis, sometimes yes, sometimes no (she had BRC and pre-settled status). After receiving Settled status in the beginning of 2025, she never received any stamps. But I think it is possible to request them.
Also yes, she frequently has to do fingerprints checks at the border.

Thanks Ixeon659 for your feedback.

I think its just 1 arrival stamps is missing and my wife already have the employment reference letter which covers that period, so that should fine I guess and also they should have all entry in their database too.

Raj

This is what I replied to a similar post:
"No need to prove non-existing stamp!
UKVI have access to travellers data, they can validate against their own databases.
After all they introduced digital borders!
No issue.

Hi Everyone,

I'm preparing documents for a standard appointment for my wife, and have a couple of questions
about the upload process on TLSContact as I am using TLSContact for first time.

As per the mandatory checklist, I need to provide:
(Document 1) - colour copies of all pages of the passport including blank pages,
(Document 2) - proof of living in the UK (passport showing the relevant 5 year residence period),
(Document 3) - two referee declarations signed form, and
(Document 4) - English language test certificate.

Currently available List of folders catagory on TLSContact to upload documents are as below ;
  • Proof of Application
  • Educational/Qualifications
  • Sponsor/Employer
  • Medical Information
  • Life Event/Official Documents
  • Evidence of residence in the UK/Proof of activity in the UK
  • Finances
  • Other

My queries are:

(a) From what I understand, the above mentioned mandatory checklist documents should be uploaded as follows? Correct me if I am wrong

Document 1 → "Proof of Application" folder
Document 2 → "Evidence of residence in the UK/Proof of activity in the UK" folder
Document 3 → "Life Event/Official Documents" folder
Document 4 → "Educational/Qualifications" folder

(b) Since documents 1 and 2 both contain passport information, can the file names be the same or
should I use different file names to avoid any system issues or processing confusion?

(c) After uploading all documents online, do we need to click a "Submit" button to finalize everything, or
is the submission completed by TLSContact staff at the time of the biometric appointment?

Could some please help me my queries please.

Thanks in advance!

as above. doesn't matter

you need to review the website and relevant instructions. I believe you can upload documents up to 48 hours before the appointment and everything will be sent to UKVI at the appointment.

Could some please help me my queries please.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks contorted_svy for answering my queries.

I checked the TLSContact site and once all the document is uploaded will need to submit them once you are happy with the summary page of what documents has been uploaded , before the appointment.

Thanks for your help.

Raj
