Query -ILR

I have just heard about , after getting ILR , cannot apply for British passport is that true ?????

Well you'll need to have applied for and been granted British Citizenship before qualifying to apply for a British passport. Unless you're married to a British citizen you'll need to wait for 12 months after receiving ILR.

If you are granted ILR in 2016 & are not married to a British citizen then you may apply to be naturalised as a British citizen in 2017 (one year after ILR is granted). Once naturalised you may apply for a British passport.
