Query on maximum absence during ILR

I first came to UK in June 2005 on a WP (say WP-"A"). I returned after one month to India .

I came back to UK in June 2006 on the same WP (WP-"A") - this time with my dependents. I
continued to stay in the UK till date (31st March 2010).

Question 1.

To qualify for permanent residency , does my time start from June 2005 when I first came here Or is that period not count ? That period does not count because there is a gap of 1 year

Also , is there a limit for the maximum no of days one can be out at one gap ?Yes, 90 days
Question 2

What is the total no of days one can be out of the county in the 5-yr period ? 180 days

Question 3.

Assuming that the period in 2005 counts in my case , will my dependents also have to complete 5 years on their own before they become eligible for Permanent residency ? Or does the main applicant only have to complete 5 years ? Your dependants will have to stay in UK for min of 2 yrs before they can apply for ILR


I am a bit confused and would be very grateful if someone answered my queries There are a number of topics already discussed about the same in this forum, go through them for a clearer picture
