Query regarding extension of Tier-1 (General) visa

Dear All,
I have applied for Tier-1 visa on March-2009 and get approved on the same month. However I have applied for post dated visa which validity start from june-3009. I got my visa approval base on my Bachelor Degree. I am still in India due to some personal reason and planning to go UK on April-2010.
As I told, my visa was approved base on my Bachlore Degree as qualification. I don't have Maser digree. As per new policy one should have master degree for Tier -1 visa.

I want to know, do I need master degree for extending or applying Tier-1 visa after the visa validity period.

As per my knowledge I do not need master degree for extention of Tier-1 visa.
