WP Query

Hi All,

I had a small query with regards to a new WP application by a prospective new employer. Does the new Employer need the candidate's (who holds a WP) passport to be submitted along with the application?

I thinks its probably due to how you framed the question.
My answer is no, the application is sent off and the correspondence recieved back is then used to get the vignette into the passport with the permit.

Biggie.

Not needed to have it physically with the application. They will lodge it with your details included. once Wp appli is successful then you need to submit your application for leave to remain and have that vignette onto your passport. Good luck.

Process mentioned is valid before the roll out of Tier 2 PBS next month

simpletonme70, this depends on a lot of things! Can you give more information - is the worker inside or outside the UK? Is this a renewal situation or a new application?
