Query

Post by 2013 » Sun Dec 04, 2011 11:00 am

My visa history is as follows :-

1. I entered in UK through workpermit in May 2008
2. Visa extension done in May 2010 for 1 Year in UK. However visa extension done using Tier2(ICT) since WP was closed at that time
3. Visa extension again done in May 2011 for 1.5 Year in UK. However visa extension done using Tier2(ICT)

If i continue with the same employer or switch into TIER2 (General), then will i eligible for settlement which will be due in May 2013.

Thanks in advance

WP plus Tier 2 should be equal to 5 years for you to apply for ILR.

Thanks for reply.

Probably my question was not very clear. I am asking after 5 years whether i will be eligble for applying PR or not ?

...depends on the rules in place on the date of your ILR application.
