Query on travelling to UK with dependant visa

Hello,
I'm a British Citizen living in India the last 6 months due to a family emergency. My dependent son got a valid UK visa till the end of the year 2024. He is also in India now.
I have a flat in the UK and he will be staying there for a month. Given that I'm in India can he travel to the UK alone? 
Please advise.
