Question about Fiancee visa

Post by JamieT86 » Fri Oct 11, 2013 8:47 pm

I am currently a student at University and I am engaged to my Thai Fiancee who currently lives in Thailand, and I was wondering, if anyone knows if it is possible for my parents to sponsor her on a fiancee visa so she can come back to England and live with me.

No. You alone can be the sponsor. If your or her parents can gift you the necessary 67,500 (in lieu of no earned income), and you hold this for six months, you may use this to meet the financial threshold. Research tax on cash gifts.

Well, in that case, and without the necessary savings, you can't sponsor her settlement under the current immigrstion rules.

Consider marriage and the EEA route.
