A question about German visa

hi guys

I have an interesting question 4 u.
I was born in Frankfurt, Germany. I had been living there for 7 or 8 years. And then we moved to Pakistan. But I did not get a german visa/nationality. And now after my graduation I am dying to see my 2nd homeland, frankfurt (other than pakistan).

One or two times when I was about 15 years old , i think, I applied for German visa but ambassy refused to give me a visa of even some days. I think I should get some favors when applying for german visa.

so now what should I do if I want to go Gemany. Any body from germany can asnwer this question more clearly.

Erm.. apply for a tourist visa at the German embassy of the country you're resident in?
