What is a statutory excuse? I have contacted the agency, and they say it is fine for me to stay there until the end of the tenancy. Since my visa was valid when I entered into the tenancy agreement.
I do not want an LTR. As far as I can tell, I just have to leave before the visa ends. The only thing you have to do before your visa expires is either to apply for a further LTR or to leave.
Does anyone know this? You can leave and try to come back immediately as a non visa national. You may be scrutinized or not this is up to the IO at the port of entry though EU national may use the e-gates to enter.

Could you point me to someone I could contact to legal advice on this? Not done on the forum I.e. referral for legal advice, you will have to do this yourself if you deemed it necessary.
I mean it says in your posts, that your advice does not constitute legal advice.
So I would like to make sure.
