Question regarding By post German Schengen Visa

Hi all,

I have a schengen visa from german embassy london in last 6 months.

I am applying by post now and little confuse. Do I need a postal order in euros or pounds second to whom it should be payable too.

Please someone share if he/she applied by post before.

As far as I am aware of it is always local currency, so pounds.

That is awesome that the Germans now allow visa "renewals" by post. Thanks for pointing that out!

Thanks for replies but my original question was to whom that postal order will be payable to?

German Embassy, Consulate General Germany or what, there is nothing mentioned on their website

Please someone let me know about this if someone applied by post.

If it should be in pound then how you can be so accurate about 60 euro equivalent in pounds.

Have you actually tried to ask them? If you didn't/won't get an answer why not go by their official address. BTW, it's their embassy and not a consulate general.
