question regarding question J2 (immigration status)

I had a quick question regarding question J2 of the tier 1 (PSW) application form:

J2. Tick the box to show the immigration status that the applicant had in the United Kingdom during the above period of study and/or research.

The options are student, student nurse, re-sit student, student writing thesis etc.

I had a one year student visa for my MSc and then I needed to get another student visa to re-sit exams. Which box do I tick in this question: student, re-sit student or do I tick both?

To me it makes sense to tick both student & re-sit student but the question says tick THE box.

Any help would be much appreciated.
