question regarding section 5 of EEA(PR) application for surinder singh

Need advise with question 5.2 of PR form which asking for the date of sponsor entered the uk.
applying for my wife under surinder singh route and I am not sure if I should put the date of my return to uk after exercising my treaty right in another eea state or the date I entered uk for first time over 20 years ago.
