question related to earnings with PF

Can someone help me out with the following situation.

Is the provident fund deducted from employer side be considered in the gross income. if yes, how can i show that.
I have a situation in which i don't have any evidence to prove that the employer is deducting from my CTC a particular amount every month to my PF account.

Example:

lets say my CTC is Rs. 12000 P.A and of which 12% of CTC is PF which is Rs. 1440 PA and that is equally divided for employer's part and employee's part . i.e. Rs 720 each P.A.
As per my CTC my income is Rs. 1000 per month . But my salary slip says , my income is Rs. 940 .(1000 - 60) .and net pay after deduction is Rs. 880. (940 - 60)

So which income i should be submitting as gross income 1000, 940, 880.

The only reference of PF deduction is mentioned in my offer letter which says that the company is deducting Rs. x from employees's CTC .

Please advice how can i overcome this situation because this will decide whether i should be applying this month or after 6 months.

Employer contribution to your EPF account cannot be included as earnings or income to claim points for Tier 1, as the contribution is to your provident fund and not to your income (technically speaking).

Gross income = Net Income + Income Tax + other statutory deductions.

The earnings are calculated on gross income, so your question is irrelevant. And that you are applying from India is not something that makes a difference.

I have posted a reply in another thread regarding this. In policy guide, they have asked to submit proof for income tax (like tax return form etc). The problem is I am getting my tax return form once in a year that too through online. so I like to know, is there any way to get the documents in the middle of the year? The problem is without tax component i am not qualified. so i need to claim tax paid as well. Please help me
