Real Time Lines

Hi,

I am considering appealing a spouse visa refusal for my wife who is outside the UK. I am so confused about the process and how long it will take. Does anyone have real experience of making an appeal and how long it will take.

To be clear, I am not looking for a court hearing, I want it done by paper review. My case is simple, I just want to add a missing document so they have all that they required. I met the financial requirement, but did not include unaudited accounts, which I now have done by an accountant.

This is what I understand.

If I follow the URL https://www.gov.uk/immigration-asylum-t ... ide-the-uk ,that was at the bottom of my refusal letter, then I follow the "A decision to refuse a human rights claim for entry clearance link".

At the end of the process of following "yes" "no" questions, and completing name and some sparse details, I pay £80. At this point, do I then wait to receive a case ref? before I can go further? If so, how long does this take? Or do I attach the missing document and send it immediately and then wait for their decision?

Any first hand advice greatfully recieved.
