Receipt of Documents

Hi,

I have recently applied for my Tier 2 visa in Australia and was wondering if you are supposed to receive a receipt that they have received the documents. I had a postal tracking number which confirms my documents were delivered but did not receive an email. Is this common?

Normally you should receive the acknowledgement within 6 weeks of your application at maximum.
