Received skilled worker decision mail/BRP - However Right to Work/Rent still showing old BRP's start date and end date

Hello,

I received decision mail and BRP for my skilled worker visa application as expected. However while generating right to work/rent share code, it still shows my old BRP (student dependent) start and end date.

Please let me know how I can resolve this...

Yes

Do you use this https://www.gov.uk/prove-right-to-work

The web page normally only shows "You can work in the UK until XX/XX/XXXX", but not start date.

Since it's within 10 days of BRP arrival, can I use this link and choose 'My BRP doesn't work' option from the below link

It seems you've received your new BRP just recently.

Sometimes your status on the "prove your right to work" website is updated after a few days. That's not an error on the BRP, you just need to be patient and wait until it happens.

If you want to prove your status to someone (to rent a place, etc.) before the info is updated on the portal, you can provide the landlord/agency with a copy of your new BRP and it should be sufficient.
