Redundant within Tier 2 - Next Tier 2 experienced salary?

Hi all I have 2 questions,

I have been made redundant and my first issue of Tier 2 was suppose to be valid till Oct 2016 (years).

1) Looking for new sponsor, is it a requirement for me to satisfy experienced level salary? Even though I have not completed my full tenure on my Tier 2.

2) I have been in the UK 8 years - done 2 degrees and no offences etc - basically an ideal citizen. Could I apply for FLR(O) under 'other' as it has been a long time and all my contacts are in the UK now.
