REFER TO CASE WORKERS MANUAL FOR MORE CORRECT INFO on HSMP

Post by vagabond4life » Wed Mar 18, 2009 12:07 pm

THIS POST IS ONLY INFORMATIVE AND REPRESENT ONLY MY VIEWS ON SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS for Tier 1 General

Hi All

Refer to case workers manual - CWM alongwith the guidance notes to prepare your supporting documents. As the case worker will make decision based on the case worker manual, it will be more prudent to use the list of documents required in the manual. The guidance note is confusing at times or has inadequate info.

As the CWM is supposedly an official document, there is no harm in relying on it. It gives detailed instructions on how a case worker should make a decision on each of the attributes. In providing info as per the requirement of CWM, the chances of refusal will be less.

Thanks

NB: Considering the current economic scenario, the HO will reject applications for the most trivial reason. Submit your application only if you think (as a case worker) that the application is complete in all aspects. If you have any doubt, consult with friends or fellow board members.
