Referee Form and Travel Pre Biometric Appointment

Post by starsandstripes53 » Sat Aug 07, 2021 1:13 pm

Hi,

Two questions

1) who fills out the field "name of applicant" on pg1 of the referee form, do I do that as the applicant or should it be the referee

2) I travelled between submitting my application and my BRP appointment but have not yet uploaded my documents, should I upload the version of my passport as at the date of application, or the most recent which has an additional stamp added after the date of application

Best you fill it in to avoid any spelling mistakes.
2) I travelled between submitting my application and my BRP appointment but have not yet uploaded my documents, should I upload the version of my passport as at the date of application, or the most recent which has an additional stamp added after the date of application I thought the documents have to be loaded by the time you have the BRP appointment. But what counts was valid on the date you submitted and paid your onlineapplication.

Many thanks - on point 2) to clarify I am yet to have my BRP appointment, so was wondering if I needed to upload the current version of my passport (with the additional stamp) so that it matches the version which will be scanned at the BRP appointment, or if I should upload the version as was at the time of application which will not match the version they scan at the BRP appointment (because of the additional stamp)

Just to confirm - would be best that I upload the version of my passport as it was at the date of application? Do I need to mention in cover letter that there is an additional stamp?

The additional stamp is after you have submitted/paid your application, so no further explanations needed.
