refrees for children application for british citizenship

Hi everyone,

we are actually facing a serious problem regarding refrees for our children application as GP has refused it without any reason and apparently school is willing to give letters but refusing to sign the application form( probably because she doesn't want to give her british passport number ).

can someone pls guide me if we can ask school to give all other details on the form except passport number as professional refree can be of any nationalty according to MN1 form. thus they dont required to give passport number(form asks for only british passport number)?. we might convince school for this. Our second refree is willing to give his british passport number,which fulfill the requirement of the form.

any advice please.

The way I read it was that the person of professional standing didn't have to be a British citizen or a passport holder (not everybody has a passport...), so just leave the field blank.

To be safe you could note somewhere that the passport number can be obtained by contacting the person directly.
