Refund for renunciation

I paid Rs. 8000 for renunciation application but I have been told that the High Commission has withdrawn the process of renunciation. My application has not been processed, and so I would like the amount to be refunded to my bank account as the application has not been processed yet.

I have mailed to 100 different accounts but no response from any of them. I have tried calling the High Commission too but in vain. What can I do to get the money back?
