Refund request for visa fees Tier 5

Dear Sir,

i live in Doha, Qatar and I applied online for UK visa last week to attend a Tourism roadshow during Novmber,2014 , i want to apply for a business visa but i applied wrongly into Tier 5 and paid amount $235 followed by confirmatin GWF033706418, Then i went to the migration office and they didnt accept this application and asked me to apply again for business visa, i did and i paid another amount which is $127 and cash amount of 625QR to proceed within 7 days. They adviced me in UK office to do online refund request and i did yesterday dated 09/10/2014 but i didnt receive any notification mail by any process or updates.
The amount is hold now on my visa and i dont know whom to talk or to ask.

It takes about 10 working days to process a return of fees in these types of cases. Dont expect too much in the way of acknowledgement or communication in the interim. Usually at best you get an email saying yes or no to the refund and the fee is returned if a yes to the account you paid it from.

Hi, out of curiosity, did you receive your refund? I'm now in the same boat.
