Hi

Apologies if I m repeating this query on the forum.

I arrived in UK Oct 2004 and got ILR Oct 2009. I m planning to apply for citizen ship this yr after spending one year on ILR i.e. Oct 2010. However, my question is

a) My wife joined as dependant in Jan 2006 and got ILR status alongwith me in Oct 2009. She has stayed on dep visa throughout. Can I make a joint application now or do I have to wait for her to complete five years in Jan 2011?

b) Or she has to complete six yrs i.e. addtl one yr on ILR as well before I can make a joint application.

Pls advise.

Joint application in Jan 2011, if your spouse completes the standard requirements.
