Regarding HSMP - Hlp pls.

Post by antouk » Sat Nov 03, 2007 10:09 am

Hi,

My case is looking lil confusing now, i have got my HSMP approved, im yet to go for EC. My employer is now processing me Work permit. I prefer to go thru my employer to UK and process HSMP clearence from there, Is this prossible?
or Should i come to india to get the clearence?
Can this be done like switching from workpermit to HSMP? coz i have shown the sal slips of my indian employer for HSMP approval.

You either get hsmp and ec
or Work permit and ec
what are you talking about?

Thanks SYH.

I'll put my case more clearer:
1. I got my HSMP approved on 4th Oct 07, EC is pending.
2.My employer is processing me work permit now, i'll be traveling to UK by end of december.
3. After going there can i switch to HSMP(before march, when my hsmp approval is about to get expired)?
a. If i can switch from WP to HSMP, do i need to come back to my country for HSMP EC?
b. Since i showed all the bank and employer proofs from my country for HSMP approval, will i face any problems while applying HSMP EC?

Its not much better because I can't tell if you know what you are doing? What is your nationality?
You can't have both WP and HSMP, so why don't you decide what you want.
If you are already approved for HSMP, you should get your EC and then you can work for this employer. I don't see the point of getting the WP and switching to HSMP if you are already approved to HSMP

You can't just travel on a WP, you need EC there too.
I am not, and cannot, offer legal advice to particular people. I can only discuss general areas of immigration law.

People should always consider obtaining professional advice about their own particular circumstances.

You just wait for your employer to process your WP. once you get the WP approved from Biritsh embassy, then come to the UK with your employer WP.

In the UK you can switch to the HSMP by applying through FLR form.

There are changes in the application forms to be filled for EC or visitors.
Check with the latest updates in the UKVisas.gov.uk.

If the opportunity doesn't knock, build a door.
