regarding passport issue HSMP tier1

Hi,
I am new to this board..I have a intersting query..please can any of you help me to find the solution to this.
My query is Currently i am in Belfast,Northernireland,Uk.If i summit my passport ,how could i travel to London as i have weekly clients meeting.Is it possible to travel without passport within UK.

You can tavel within UK without passport. Might be you need to show photo ID before boarding airplane. If you have Driving Licence you can use that.....any one else to share this?

As far as my reading goes, there is no urgent treatment for Tier1 as yet.
