Regarding Visitor visa

Hi My in laws were visited in uk last summer and they stayed for nearly 6 months . They want to come again for 6 months in this summer. My question is. Do they have to wait another 6 moth to re apply again or they can apply any time. They left uk last year on 6th may 2014 so do they have to wait till 6th of may 2015 or they can submit their file 2 weeks early. Thanks.
