Pr reject wrongly

Dear guru ,
I really need help and advise as soon as possible as i want to reapply or send a reconsideration for my application . I apply for my pr as a direct family member of a eu holding pr, we have been married for 5 years but been together for 8years and have 2 kids , i have sent all documentation early December I RECEIVED the email before Christmas saying that my application was consider and today i got all my document back plus the letter of the HO saying that my application been rejected base on my passport been expire in fact my passport was expired but I extented it in the congolese embassy here in london so it has been extend until 2023 I m really shocked and need guidance, i would like to mentioned that in the past I had succesful short leave with old passport extended.i have been give no right to appeal. What do i do . Shoukd I ask for reconsideration? Any idea on how the letter should be ,a sample please and do i have to pay again do i have to send my document back ? Do i have to send a new form , please i need guidance opinion as i would like to do it all on Friday, do i have to call home office I guess my case worker did not read the page on my passport where my embassy extended it so my rejection been done by mistake. Please i would appreciate so much advise help guidance please .thank you

Do i have to send my passport back while mentioning on was page number my passport got the extention stamp from my congolese ambassy .do i have to sent a copy of that page as well and the congolese ambassy here in london address. Website and tel number ? Please need assistance . Thank you so much

Is it possible for you to get a new passport from the Congolese embassy, rather than the old passport with an extension stamp?

Also, which Congo are you a citizen of?

It is not possible , i have to travel to congo which is impossible also my visa 5 years residency is finishing the 1feb 2019. I am from congo brazzavilleI, not sure what to do really . Wanted to write a reconsider letter .spoke to my embassy they want to give me a letter addressing to home office .not sure if it will help. I wanted to point out that in the past I had succesful Rc with extended passport
