rejection (work experience & earnings not verified)

I had applied for HSMP application (under 28) and claimed points in the following category.
Education: MSc. (25 points)
Work Experience: 2 Years graduate level job (25 points)
Earning Criteria: 25 points
Spouse Achievements: Graduate (10 Points)

My application rejected on the basis of the following.

Work Experience: 0 points
Unable to verify reference from previous employer
Earning Criteria: 0 Points
Unable to verify reference from previous employer
The letter from Home Office dated on 8th September 2006. I contacted my previous employer and they confirmed that verification request was received on 7th September from local British High Commission and acknowledged on the same date. The required details have been sent out on 12th Sep and they received telephone call from local British High Commission on the same day. However, the email system had some problems and the email was not received by high commission. They have resent the verification today by explaining the reason of delay on 13th. I want to apply for a review.
