Relocation to different office within the UK

Post by NOG » Sat Jul 09, 2011 9:55 am

Hello,
Firstly, this forum is extremely helpful. I tend to find the majority of my immigration related queries answered here by simply browsing though the forum.

My immigration history is as follows:
Jan 2002 – October 2006: Student visa
November 2006 – November 2007: SEGS visa
November 2007 – May 2009: Work Permit
May 2009 – Present: Tier 2 employer sponsored visa.

I have been discussing the possibility of relocating to another office within the UK. The company, job role and function will remain the same. Does the current Certificate of Sponsorship remain valid which was obtained as part of the Tier 2 application in May 2009 or is this only valid for the job at the current office location? Will relocation to another office require a new application? I was under the impression that relocation within the UK for the same company while performing the same job would not require a new CoS.

I would be grateful if someone could advise. Many thanks.

Regards,

I am looking for as checklist that commercial office removal company supervisor could use to check that all the furniture has been relocated in the new premises in line with the customer requirements. I am currently assisting the company to achieve ISO 9001:2008, would anyone have such a template?
