Remote work —> ILR

Hi guys,

If you were resident in the UK on GTV but worked remotely for overseas company, can you still apply for ILR 3-5 years later even though you have not been working for a UK employer?

Where were you paying your taxes?

It’s a hypothetical scenario I’m exploring for a friend.
Taxes would be paid in the UK.
