Renewal or ILR ?

Hello folks

it is my turn now to submit my situation here.

Application date : 22/01/2010
Visa granted: 15/03/2010 to 15/03/2013
First entered in UK: 09/05/2010 (55 days after the Tier1 start so it ok)
Visa Renewed: till: 15/03/2015

I included 2 calculations here. I know I need to renew before the expiry 15/03/2015 then apply for ILR in April. But is there another option to save some money ?

Absences Period 15/03 to 14/03
Year 1 : 119
Year 2 : 184
Year 3 : 50
Year 4 : 88
Year 5 : 23

Absences Period 18/05 to 17/05
Year 1 : 130
Year 2 : 178
Year 3 : 49
Year 4 : 92

I guess this means I have to go with the second option and waste 1600 quid
