Renewing Stamp4 as self employed (nonEU)

Hi, I'm a nonEu citizen on stamp4 which needs to be renewed soon. I worked for 5 years and quit a month ago to be self-employed (sole trader).

Anyone can advise if it's enough to be a sole trader to renew a stamp4 and then apply for naturalisation (an immigration lawyer couldn't give a definite answer)?
