Requested additional docs for citizenship when unemployed.

Post by hong » Fri Jun 25, 2010 10:31 pm

Hi,

I was made redundant May 2009. Because of my family reason I went home on August and came back this month. I have my long term residency. I am not employed again yet. But I received the letter from INIS requesting P21, recent three months pay slips and the bank statement as additional documents for my citizenship application.

I can provide P21 for last year even though I didn't work after May. But I don't have pay slips to send because I am currently looking for a job. I have never claimed social welfare because I knew it would affect my citizenship application and have never had any regal problem here in Ireland. I can be self sufficient with my savings in my Irish bank account but I don't know how I can prove it.

Thanks in advance.
