Requirement of return ticket for Tier2 visa holders

I have been issued an Entry Clearance to the UK on my application for a Sponsored Work visa (Tier 2 General Migrant). I would have to collect my BRP on arrival in the UK which would state the period of visa granted etc. I have a one-way ticket to the UK by Etihad Airways and would be leaving shortly. Would I be required to produce a return ticket at the time of leaving India in order to board the flight to London?
