EC Requirement

Dear Moderators,

I had my HSMP approved last April and will apply for EC on July. My passport is valid until 2005 July and my wife's August 2004. Certainly I have to renew the validity of my wife's pass. Do I also need to renew my pass ? My son, 2+ years old, is included with his monther's pass. Can he travel with this or does he need a seperate pass for HSMP visa and travel to UK ? As per current contract with my company, I will leave them by October 2004. I want to travel to UK in the middle of October. Can I ask for EC starting from October 2004 ? Job is yet to be finalized. How much money do I need to have in my account ? Also I need to know, in EC form they need a UK address. But I have no address in UK. I will finalize my flat only after my job which are in process. What should I do ?

Any help would be greatly apprecaited.
