requirements for flr ( fp )

Post by venkata bathina » Tue Feb 17, 2015 3:11 pm

I am from india and I have a girlfriend, she is from poland and right now we r living together in london from this January. My college was revoked recently and want to apply for visa based on her relationship with me. Some solicitors told me new college is only way or getting her married. But she is not ready for marriage, and another solicitor told me to go for flr ( fp ), I checked uk guidance about this but they dont give any requirements they only explained how to apply. can anyone help me please about flr ( fp ) rules and requirements and plz tell me does it work out for me to stay in uk?
Kind regards

FLR FP will probably not succeed if children aren't involved. They will argue that you could relocate (to Poland, another EU country or your home country).

FLR FP is an exception to the rule. It is only granted when there would be a denial of your human rights. Basically it seems to be granted after several appeals and only when its denial would create hugely complex international custody agreements created by breaking up families.

Alternatively, you can use it if you have a child who has lived continuously in the UK for 7 years.
