eu residence card for uk(can i stop off in spain)???

Hi there, my husband is from morocco and resides in the uk with me and our 4 year old daughter(eu residence card, valid 5 years) we are wondering if we are able to stop off in Spain for 1 night upon returning from morocco in november, we will be leaving the airport and staying with my sister-in-law and her family, we would really like to know asap so we can book our flights, it works out cheaper coming back casablanca to spain to edinburgh, pleasae help any info would be much apprecriated

Yes, the residence card (and you all travelling together) should enable him to enter Spain without additional visa. I do not know how well the border police of the airport in question is informed about EEA regulations but Spain certainly have it in their laws. In any case, take your marriage certificate with you.

thanks for that will give it a shot anyway, its on our way home so cant do any harm, thank you for the quick reply, i may also still can the embassy and see what they say, if needs be i will take some form of documentaion with me that says so, do you know of anything i could take, or will the EU Directive do as i already have that??
