Hello all. My apologies if this has been asked on here before but I could not find it.
I am applying on the EEA4 form as I've been here fore 5 years and my wife is an EEA national with permanent residence.
She recently lost her passport but has her Polish ID which she travels on to Poland anyway and will be travelling soon back to Poland for a few weeks. As she will need her ID for travel and does not have her passport, will the Home Office accept the Permanent Residence card as ID in substitution for the Polish ID and passport?
They ask for the Permanent Residence card anyway and I read somewhere that a marriage certificate can also be used as ID. Another thing is that for the first couple of years we lived in a share house and did not have any bills in our names or on any tenancy agreements so I'm providing our payslips for every year that cover the full time we've been here. The form doesn't particularly mention payslips as a form of proof of not being out of the country for the noted amount of time but it's all I have to prove it beside utility bill which only cover the past couple years.
Any advice concerning this would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
