Residence Card

Hi,

I'm in the process of applying for naturalisation, I do have ILR since June '17 ; can I use this instead of sending a 'Residence Card' ? I don't have a residence card. I thought all I needed was ILR?

It is stipulated:
'You must have a permanent residence card before you can apply for citizenship' .. ? i'm a bit confused.

ILR or PR. You just need to have a permanent residence right in the UK no matter what route you followed to get it. You are over thinking the wording.
