Retail businesses: NQF level?

Post by dd156 » Mon Nov 19, 2012 1:56 pm

Do online retail businesses qualify as NQF level 4? I have read varying opinions regarding the same; would be grateful for assistance.

You have not been specific in your question so I don't know know how it might be possible to be specific with a response.

Here is the list. You know what you are referring to so perhaps it's better if you look for yourself.

I have set up and am running my own online business selling beauty products, and have registered as self employed.
I have received varying opinions as to whether I am eligible for switching to the entrepreneur visa from the psw category, and hence wanted advice regarding the same.

Hi,
Thanks once again.
Could you tell me why that is the case?
I saw another thread on here titled "How I got my visa in 1 month". The poster on there is also selling beauty products online it seems.

I am responsible for the entire business, including researching products, listing, procurement, finances, etc.

Although I also run an advisory online business in the Education field (which also sells books on business education via amazon and ebay), that one has only a handful of contracts and is not at present making profit so I'm not sure if that one would qualify either, although it is closer to my field of education.

Hi

I agree with LUCAPOOKA.

1. you can blame LUCAPOOKA for not adding Retail business in NQF Level 4. Its not UKBA fault its LUCAPOOKA, s fault.

I am surprised that senior member is providing you right valuable information for free and you wants to still argue with him.

If you like the advise its fine if not then please seek a paid legal advise and ask your question.

before reading this post i had answer your query in detail as you are asking same question on about 2 to 3 threads.

I am not really impress.

Hi,
I apologise if my question came across the wrong way. I was only baffled because I read on here that someone else has been able to get a visa for a retail business. Thanks for answering my query on the other thread that I had also placed this question in. I am just confused as my business is fairly similar to that one, didn't mean to sound argumentative.
I apologise once again if it came across that way.
