Return of naturalisation

Is anyone able to advise on how to get documents submitted as part of naturalisation to be returned?

I assume you mean "how will my documents be returned"?
You don't submit any documents as originals - the naturalisation application is online and you upload scans of all documents required.
For a passport application your documents you need to submit in original will be returned once your passport has been issued.

I omitted ‘documents’ at the end of the heading. I have now been to my British citizenship ceremony but yet to receive the documents (evidence) I provided on appeal which was successful.

The questions is what options do I have to initial the return of those documents.

OK - best you contact UKVI on this email address "FurtherNationalityEnquiries@homeoffice.gov.uk" giving all your details, ref numbers, etc.
