Returning to UK after 5 years abroad

I obtained my UK Citizenship through ancestry and lived in the UK for 12 years. I left in 2006 to live with my boyfriend abroad and have been away 5 years but wish to return with him on a spouse visa (we are married). Will I have an issue with my UK passport having been away for 5 years? It is still valid until 2014.

No, neither with your passport nor with your right to re-enter / live in the UK.

Thanks so much...I can stop biting my thumb nail now and just wait for the English Test results before applying for the spouse visa!
