Returning to UK with 1 month left on Tier 2 Visa

Good day!

My husband and I will need to go to our home country but we've realised that we will be returning in the UK a month before his tier 2 visa expires. We have asked HR and they said they will issue a new Certificate of Sponsorship that we can apply once we come back. They said that there shouldn't be a problem with the immigration if we show his new COS plus his Tier 2 visa even if there's only a month left because technically he is still legal to come back and he's got a new COS to apply for extension straight away.

We will contact home office on Monday too.. just wondering if there's anyone who's been through something like this?

That should not be a problem as you will have a valid visa and COS assigned.
