reusing COS

Hi,

Can someone help me.

My friend's visa was rejected due to zero points for income since her bank statements did not have sufficient balance.

Now she has decided to get a sponsorship letter from an A rated sponsor.

Can we reapply using the same COS that was used earlier when her application was rejected

please help

the A-Rated sponser shd give separate CoS.. also becos it is already 'USED'

one can not use CoS of 1 sponser to other here A-Rated sponser

To clarify,

The A rated sponsorship letter is from the same sponsor who has give the COS. Just that she did not apply with the letter and was rejected. Now the sponsor has agreed to issue the letter and my friend wants to reapply.

So was checking whether she can reuse the COS number.

Can you please help?

In that case.. the employer of your friend should login to the HO Maintenance system where they earlier issued the CoS and should check if the current CoS has been already used (i think it is already used as they rejected the case ???)

If it is already used..

then the employer should issue new CoS which costs only £170 i think and with the new CoS fill the application with the new UIN(unique identification No) and ur friend shd be good to go..

Yes the employer checked the home office system and the status against the existing COS says 'USED'.

I will ask her to speak to her employer and raise a new COS and reapply.
