Review Request Post Rejection - Success Rate

Post by amoghdhamankar » Wed Mar 08, 2006 3:08 pm

hi All,

My application was rejected today (March 08, 2006). I am yet to receive the reason of my rejection as I had called up the Home Office.

I am planning to challenge the decision. Can anybody tell me whats the success rate in this scenario?

Also whats the Turn Around Time in these cases where we challenge the decision and the redecision is made by Home Office...

Kindly Reply

if you give more details on how you have claimed the points one can infer what may be the most possible reason for the rejection and what's the possibility of success on review of the decision of rejection.

hi,

I have attempted for:

25 - Education (BE + MBA)
25 - Work Experience (Total Experience of 30 months from 2 employers)
25 - Earnings
5 - Age Under 28 years

My Score given was:
15 - Education
0 - Work Experience
25 - Earnings
5 - Age Under 28 years

the exact rejection is unclear as i am yet to receive the letter back from Home office to India.....

I just wanted to know what is the success rate when the decision is challenged within 28 days of rejection and relevant explanation is provided back to Home Office...

Sorry to hear about the rejection. but looks like they have not recognised your Masters Degree (which Uni is it from ?).

Your experience is just 30 months - My understanding is you need at least 5 years of experience (3 years if Ph D) to gain any points under this category.

So to me it looks a tough case to fight for. unless your experience of 30 months is a typo. Another thing is you need experience letter which is aptly detailed. nowadays there are many applications being rejected on that account. So make sure you have those in place.

Anyway you will get further info on reason for rejection once you get the letter from HO. So good luck and reevaluate your case in line with the guidelines strictly again before taking action of challenging the decision.

for under 28
2 yrs of work ex at graduate level is 25 points.

Can you give us a brief idea of wht the experience letters had on them? The case worker has a reference document to see what qualifies as a graduate level job etc
u need a detailed job description designation, start date and end date etc on it. on a company letter head with a signature.
