RLMT for Software Testers

Hi,

Pardon me if this question has been asked before and I did a search to see any relevant thread for this topic.

So the situation is am planning to switch my employer and the new employer is willing to do the sponsorship.
But they are not too sure about the whole process even though they have Tier 2 sponsor license.

Currently am SoC code 2139 and will be moving to a similar role in a different company. My question is should the new employer do Labour Market test for me as the job is on the Shortage Occupation List?

1. Ask your employer to go through the T2 Sponsor Guidance. They have a licence, they should be aware of the process, else they risk loosing the license.

2. 2139 does not seem to be in the shortage occupation list. In that case, RLMT will be required.
