i couldnt help but notice ronaldinho got spanish citizenship. i know when u apply for citizenship, you have to live in the country most of the year but ronaldinho has to be away from spain most of the year. do they not care if a person is away?

Residence requirements can have a lot of nuance. What exactly are the residence requirements for Spanish citizenship?

And if he recently got citizenship, then he likely applied quite a while ago.
