Route of Settlement in UK

Post by Jorgelo » Thu Oct 08, 2015 12:05 pm

Arrive in UK as student 2000 I have been until now legally leaving in UK. 2003 married a polish wife had a kid and, marriage broke down in 2010 I have been granted 5 years visa for retention of rigth. My ex left the country in 2007. Now The 5 years are ending and I want to apply for setteent. But I have the this questions?
1. After I had retained the treaty rights what way should I go eeu or ilr?
1. If eeu I can't prove that my ex was in UK from 2007 to the day of the absolute decre (polish divorce), i have been advise that once I retained the rights. Is the noon EEU person that is in exercise of the treaty rights.
2. If I can apply for a PR is that the same to the IRL ?
3. If I apply for the 10 years do I need to prove that my ex was living in UK until our divorce?
4. I have remarried with a polish woman and I have a kid all that will
5. Do I have to prove that my ex wife was in UK until divorce because she left before that and the divorce was in Poland.

Many thanks for all you cooperation

You were very fortunate to get Retention of Residence , given the above.

I will will try and ignore the time spent as spouse of that person, as it will open a whole can of worm .
