russian living in spain need divorce in spain or russian

hello there i have the next question about the following situation

a russian girl who is married to a resident in spain
she lives in spain now, but wants to divorce from this resident

can she just divorce in spain?
or does she needs to go back to russia to divorce?

Logically if she married in Spain she'd need a Spanish Divorce. And thensuch she might well lose her right to reside in Spain but I dunno Spanish Law or what terms of residence she has.

If she married in Russia she'd need a Russian Divorce. Either we I think she'd have to go back to Russia.

What's her immigration status is Spain?

Think we need more info, rather than asking question why dont you give us the story:

eg: Is she still married and that's the basis of her status in Spain?

I still feel her status in Spain is dependant on her relationship with the presumably Spanish National she's married to. If loses her married status, she loses her right to stay unless she can stay on other grounds like Work Permit etc.

My experience is only from russian aspect, not Spanish.

i know it's rude but do u have a relationship with this woman?
